DJ Jan started his successful career in 1988 but reached a first milestone when he became a resident of Belgium's largest Trance club "ILLUSION" at the end of 1992.
He was a resident there for more than 20 years and helped determine the trance landscape in Belgium.

Belgium's best-known and most legendary after-club "CARAT" and, among others, "Pharao Dreamland" and a series of smaller clubs (too many to mention) soon followed the example of the trance temple from Lier.
Thanks to these residencies, he was also requested at almost every major party and festival in Belgium, but also bookings in, a.o. Germany, Spain, U.K., France and the Netherlands were quickly added to his list of achievements.
DJ Jan also has a very nice discography: various top-producers asked him to make productions and remixes ... Productions that guaranteed excellent sales figures.

His very first production ever, "DREAM ON WHITE" was made together with top producer Filip Vandeputte on the popular trancelabel "DANCE OPERA". They reached a No. 1 position at Studio Brussels with this track.

His biggest hit "Xsanto" was signed in no less than 18 countries and became a true European Trance hit with remixes of the biggest trance names such as DJ Taucher (Germany), Solid Sleep (Germany) and Transa (UK).
His other productions were also remixed by top-dj's and producers such as "My Impression" (by REGI), "Blaxo" (by Tiësto). These tracks were produced together with the Belgian trance master Christophe Chantzis (who also made Ian Van Dahl and Absolom).
"True Wave" was a successful electro / trance production with Milk Inc. producer Filip Vandueren.

As a remixer DJ Jan works with Christophe Chantzis, Filip Vandueren and many others.
His most famous remix is undoubtedly the trance classic "KOMAKINO - Man on Mars (DJ JAN Remix)": a certainty for an outrageous crowd at many Retro Classics parties!

DJ Jan also had the honor to rework "Theme From Norefjell" for Tiësto. The DJ JAN & Christophe Chantzis Remix provided unprecedented sales in the first weeks after the vinyl release and is one of the biggest Tiësto-hits to date.
His remix of the retro classic "OUR RESERVATION (DJ Jan VS Vandueren Remix)" is also in that list of top sellers.

During his career DJ Jan worked with legends as Praga Khan, Pat Krimson, Marcel Woods, DJ Philip, DJ Ghost, Zolex, Absolom, Santa Cruz, Overload, Mothers Pride, Trancelucent, Mixmen and many others.

Last year his latest production "ROCK DA HOUSE" (together with Filip Vandueren) was received very positively.

DJ Jan plays at almost every major festival such as "Legacy Festival", "Tomorrowland" and "Beachland" and trance and retro party in Belgium (including the celebration of "25 Years Bonzai" and the "30 Years Illusion" parties)...
His performances in clubs such as La Rocca, Bocca, club Reflex, Karrewiel, Real Club, ... are gems and bring a unique journey through the best musical memories of his rich career.
